Schools and colleges in Punjab will be closed for the next winter break.

All public and private educational institutions in Punjab have been given winter breaks by the Higher Education Department (HED).

Schools, colleges, and institutions in Punjab will be closed from Dec. 21, 2021, to Jan. 2, 2022, owing to the current cold weather conditions in the area. On the 3rd of January 2022, the institutes will reopen.

Schools and colleges in Punjab will be closed for the next winter break.

IPEMC, the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC), is scheduled to convene this afternoon in order to complete school winter holidays across Pakistan.

Proposals to close all schools, colleges, and institutions in the country from December 15, 2021 to January 16, 2022, have been revealed by credible sources.

Sindh and Balochistan's governments, on the other hand, have already declared their respective educational institutions' winter breaks.

Schools in the Sindh region will be closed from 20 December 2021 to 1 January 2021, while those in Balochistan's secondary education department will be closed from 22 December 2021 to 31 December 2021 and 15 December 2021 to 28 February 2022 for the winter zone. Both departments announced the closures ahead of time.
