Zindagi sirf issi dhun main guzarey jayen,

Zindagi sirf issi dhun main guzarey jayen,
Bass tera naam, tera naam pukarey jayen,
Jab yeh tay hai ke yahan koi nahin aye ga,
Kis ki khatir dar-o-deewar sanwarey jayen,
Aik tujh tak na pohanch paye mere dard ki aanch,
Aasman tak to mere gham ke sharaarey jayen,
Jab mulaqat na thi tab to koi baat na thi,
Ab yeh tanhai ke din kese guzarey jayen,
Yahan ghamkhawaar nahin hai wahan azaar nahin,
Kiss jahan mein yeh tere dard ke maarey jayen,
Main andheron mein nahin main to wahan jaon ga,
Woh jahan sath mere chaand sitarey jayen,
Jeet kar to kahin le jaye musalsal hum ko,
Aur hum roz teri chaah mein haarey jayen,
Marg*-e-jaan na sahi, marg-e-mohabbat hi sahi,
Zindagi kuch to tera qarzz utarey jayen,
Fasilon se na hua josh-e-mohabbat ka ilaaj,
Yeh to kuch aur bhi jazbon ko ubhaarey jayen,
Bazm-e-ehbaab to tasveer ka ik rukh hai Adeem,
Is mein dushman bhi to do chaar hamarey jayen,
Wassl ke baad mohabbat ki sazaa theek Adeem,
Maarey jayen bhi to kyon muft main maarey jayen..
