Zakhm ka andamaal hote hue

زخم کا اندِمال ہوتے ہوئے​
میں نے دیکھا کمال ہوتے ہوئے​

ہجر کی دھوپ کیوں نہیں ڈھلتی​
جشنِ شامِ وصال ہوتے ہوئے​

دے گئی مستقل خلش دل کو​
آرزو پائمال ہوتے ہوئے​

لوگ جیتے ہیں جینا چاہتے ہیں​
زندگانی وبال ہوتے ہوئے​

کس قدر اختلاف کرتا ہے​
وہ مرا ہم خیال ہوتے ہوئے​

پئے الزام آ رُکیں مجھ پر​
ساری آنکھیں سوال ہوتے ہوئے​

آج بھی لوگ عشق کرتے ہیں​
سامنے کی مثال ہوتے ہوئے​

خود سے ہنس کر نہ مل سکے احمدؔ​
خوش سخن، خوش خصال ہوتے ہوئے​
