Yeh aur baat teri gali main na ayen hum,

Yeh aur baat teri gali main na ayen hum,
Lekin yeh kya ke tera sheher chorr jayen hum,
Muddat huyi hai kuye bataan ki taraf gaye,
Awaargi se dil ko kahan tak bachaayen hum,
Be’noor ho chuki hai bohat sheher ki fizaa,
Tareek raston par kahin kho na jayen hum,
Us ke baghair aaj bohat jee udaas hai,
Jaalib chalo kahin se usey dhoond ke layen hum..
