hisaar-e-zaat se baahar nikaal laauun use

vo jal raha thaa kari dhuup ki tamaazat mein
milaa jo ab to ohrhaa duungaa apani chaa'onn usey

ye ishq bhi hai ajab imtihaan-e-ahad- e-wafaa
wo aazamaaye mujhe aur main aazamaauun use

wo shahar shahar chiraagaan sahi magar ek din
hawaayein yaad dilaayeingi apnaa gaana usey

wo apne khuwaab mein shaayad mujhii ko dekhta ho
