Woh kuchh gehri soch mein aise doob gaya hai,

Woh kuchh gehri soch mein aise doob gaya hai,
baithe baithe nadii kinaare doob gaya hai.

Aaj ki raat na jaane kitni lambi hogi,
aaj ka sooraj shaam se pehle doob gaya hai.

Woh jo pyaasa lagta tha sailaab-zada tha,
paani paani kehte kehte doob gaya hai.

Mere apne andar ek bhanwar tha jis mein,
mera sab kuchh saath hi mere doob gaya hai.

Shor toh yun utha tha jaise ek toofaan ho,
sanaatte mein jaane kaise doob gaya hai.

Aakhiri khwaahish poori kar ke jeena kaisa,
aanis’ bhi saahil tak aa ke doob gaya hai. !!
