Bachaaye rakh K ye baRhti hui raateiN hi iiNdhan haiN
Andhere kaam aa jaate haiN taabaani banaane meiN

Badan unke liye kya mas’ala rah jaaye, jo rooheiN
Mukammal kaam aa jaati hoN uriyaani banaane meiN

MaiN jis par ik shikan ho jaauN aur dekha kare duniya
Lagaa hai waqt ik aisee hi peshaani banaane maiN

HazaaroN ajnabee chehroN se guzari haiN meri aankheiN
Ye soorat zindagi ki jaani pahchaani banaane meiN

Meri takhleeq iske zimme thi, so ab yahi jangal
Lagaa hoga mere hisse ki veeraani banaane meiN

Usi se ishq karke raaigaaN kar lenge kya sab kuchh?
