Uss ki ankhon main mohabbat ka sitara hoga,

Uss ki ankhon main mohabbat ka sitara hoga,
Aik din aye ga woh shakss hamara hoga,
Tum jahan mere liye seepiyan chunti hogi,
Woh kisi aur hi duniya ka kinaara hoga,
Zindagi! ab mera naam na shamil karna,
Gar yeh tehh hai yehi khail dobaraa hoga,
Jis ke hone se meri saans chala karti hai,
Kis tarah us ke bina mera guzaara hoga,
Yeh achaanak jo ujaala sa hua jata hai,
Dil ne chupke se tera naam pukara hoga,
Ishq karna hai to din raat usey sochna hai,
Aur kuch zehen main aaya to hasaara hoga,
Yeh jo paani main chala aaya sunehri sa gharoor,
Uss ne daryaa main kahin paaon utaara hoga,
Kon rota hai yahan hijar ke sanaatton main,
Mere jesa hi koi hijar ka maara hoga,
Mujh ko maloom hai joon hi main qadam rakhoon ga,
Zindagi tera koi aur kinaara hoga,
Jo meri rooh main badal se garajte hain Wasi,
Uss ne seeney main koi dard utaara hoga,
Kaam mushkil hai magar jeet hi loon ga us ko,
Mere maula ka Wasi jab ishaara hoga..
