Us k labon pe raat kahani ghazab ki thi,
Jazbat beh rahe they rawani ghazab ki thi,

Raja bhi la jwab tha wadi-e-ishq ka,
Lekin dayar-e-husn ki rani ghazab ki thi,

Kya kya na shaam i meri umar main magar,
Guzri jo tere sath sohani ghazab ki thi,

Dekhi hay main ne shaher main charti jawanyan,
Lekin jo tujh pe i jawani ghazab ki thi,

Main ek umr tak likhta raha dastan-e-gham,
Jo tum ne sunai wo kahani ghazab ki thi,

Anso judai yad , aur sham e gum mohsin,
Us be wafa ki hr ik nishani ghazab ki thi.!
