Umar bhar hum rahe sharaabi se,

Umar bhar hum rahe sharaabi se,
dil-e-pur-khoon ki ek gulaabi se.

Jee dhaha jaaye hai sehar se aah,
raat guzregi kis kharaabi se.

Khilna kam kam kali ne sikha hai,
uss ki aankhon ki neem-khwaabi se.

Burqa uthte hi chaand sa nikla,
daagh hun uss ki be-hijaabi se.

Kaam the ishq mein bahut par ‘meer
hum hain faarigh hue shitaabi se. !!
