تو میں بھی خوش ہوں کوئی اس سے جا کے کہہ دینا
اگر وہ خوش ہے مجھے بے قرار کرتے ہوئے

تمہیں خبر ہی نہیں ہے کہ کوئی ٹوٹ گیا
محبتوں کو بہت پائیدار کرتے ہوئے

میں مسکراتا ہوا آئینے میں ابھروں گا
وہ رو پڑے گی اچانک سنگھار کرتے ہوئے

مجھے خبر تھی کہ اب لوٹ کر نہ آؤں گا
سو تجھ کو یاد کیا دل پہ وار کرتے ہوئے

یہ کہہ رہی تھی سمندر نہیں یہ آنکھیں ہیں
میں ان میں ڈوب گیا اعتبار کرتے ہوئے

بھنور جو مجھ میں پڑے ہیں وہ میں ہی جانتا ہوں
