Teri shoreedaa mizaaji ke sabab tere nahi

تری شوریدہ مزاجی کے سبب تیرے نہیں
اے مرے شہر ترے لوگ بھی اب تیرے نہیں
میں نے ایک اور بھی محفل میں انھیں دیکھا ہے
یہ جو تیرے نظر آتے ہیں یہ سب تیرے نہیں
یہ بہ ہر لحظہ نئی دھن پہ تھرکتے ہوئے لوگ
کون جانے کہ یہ کب تیرے ہیں کب تیرے نہیں
تیرا احسان کہ جانے گئے پہچانے گئے
اب کسی اور کے کیا ہوں گے یہ جب تیرے نہیں
دربدر ہو کے بھی جو تیری طرف دیکھتے تھے
وہ ترے خانماں برباد بھی اب تیرے نہیں
اب گلہ کیا کہ ہوا ہوگئے سب حلقہ بگوش
میں نہ کہتا تھا کہ یہ سہل طلب تیرے نہیں
ہو نہ ہو دل پہ کوئی بوجھ ہے بھاری ورنہ
بات کہنے کے یہ انداز یہ ڈھب تیرے نہیں

Dar-ba-dar hoke bhi jo teri taraf dekhte the
Woh tere khaanumaaN barbaad bhi ab tere nahi

Ab gila kya K hawaa hogaye sab halqa-bagosh
MaiN na kahta tha K yeh ahl e talab tere nahi

Ho na ho dil pe koi bojh hai bhaai warnaa
