sukut-e-shab se ek naghma suna hai

sukut-e-shab se ek naghma suna hai
wahi kanon mein ab tak gunjta hai
ghanimat hai ki apne gham-zadon ko
wo husn-e-KHud-nigar pahchanta hai
jise kho kar bahut maghmum hun main
suna hai us ka gham mujh se siwa hai
kuchh aise gham bhi hain jin se abhi tak
dil-e-gham-ashna na-ashna hai
bahut chhoTe hain mujh se mere dushman
jo mera dost hai mujh se baDa hai
mujhe har aan kuchh banna paDega
meri har sans meri ibtida hai
