Sakhtiyaan Karta Hun Dil Par Ghair Se Ghaafil Hun Main..

Sakhtiyaan karta hun dil par ghair se ghaafil hun main,
haaye kya achchhi kahi zaalim hun main jaahil hun main.
Main jabhi tak tha ki teri jalwa-pairaai na thi,
jo numood-e-haq se mit jaata hai woh baatil hun main.
Ilm ke dariya se nikle ghota-zan gauhar-ba-dast,
waaye mahroomi khazaf chain lab saahil hun main.
Hai meri zillat hi kuchh meri sharaafat ki daleel,
jis ki ghaflat ko malak rote hain woh ghaafil hun main.
Bazm-e-hasti apni aaraaish pe toh naazaan na ho,
tu toh ek tasweer hai mehfil ki aur mehfil hun main.
Dhoondhta phirta hun aey ‘iqbal’ apne aap ko,
aap hi goya musaafir aap hi manzil hun main. !!
