Roz-o-shab yoon na aziyyat mein guzaaray hotay,

Roz-o-shab yoon na aziyyat mein guzaaray hotay,
Chain aa jaataa agar khail k haaray hotay.

Khud say fursat hi muysar nahi aayi warna,
Hum kisi aur k hotay to tumharay hotay.

Aik bhi moj agar meri himayat karti,
Main nay us paar kayi log utaaray hotay.

Lag gayi aur kahin umar ki poonji warna,
Zindagi hum teri dehleez pay haaray hotay.

Kharch ho jaatay isi aik mohabbat mein,
Dil agr aur bhi seenay mein hamaray hotay.
