Pyar karne ke liye geet sunaane ke liye,

Pyar karne ke liye geet sunaane ke liye,
Ik khazaana hai mere paas lutaane ke liye,
Yaad ke zakham hain, vadon ki dhanak hai, main hoon,
Yeh bohat hai teri tasveer banane ke liye,
Hum bhi kya log hain khushbu ki riwayat se alag,
Khud pe zahir na huye, tujh ko chupaane ke liye,
Rasta rok hi leta hai taghayur ka ghubaar,
Warna har raah khuli hai yahan jaane ke liye,
Kitni sadiyon ka lahuu safah-e-maqtal pe raha,
Aik sachayi ko tehreer main laane ke liye,
Tark-e-duniya ka iraada hi kiya tha ke woh shakhss,
Aa geya khawhish-e-duniya ko jagaane ke liye,
Aik hi aag ka eendhan nahin bhujne pata,
Dusri aag hai tayaar jalane ke liye,
Ab kahin taza musafat pe nikalte hain ‘saleem’,
Ab to vaada bhi nahin koi nibhane ke liye..
