Nazar faraib qazaa kha gayi to kya hoga,

Nazar faraib qazaa kha gayi to kya hoga,
Hayaat maut se takraa gayi to kya hoga,
Neyi seher ke bohat muntazir hain magar,
Neyi seher bhi jo kujlaa gayi to kya hoga,
Na rehnamaaon ki majliss main le chalo mujh ko,
Main be-adab hoon hanssi agayi to kya hoga,
Gham hayaat se beshak hai khud-kushi asaan,
Magar jo maut bhi sharmaa gayi to kya hoga..
