Na shaaor mein jawani, na khayal mein rawani

Na shaaor mein jawani, na khayal mein rawani
Koi sun ke kya karega meri dukh bhari kahani
Na zawaal nagehani, Na arooj jaawdani
Meri zindagi ka unwan, Fakt aik lafz “Faani”
Yeh shikast ka jahanum kahin phir bharak na uthey
Mere ishq ke khandar par, na karain woh gulfishani
Na gumaan yaar in per, Na jamal e yaar in mein
Tere kokab o kamar se na behel saki jawani
Mujhe aur zindagi de, ke hai dastaan adhoori
Meri maut se na hogi, mere gham ki tarjumani
