Mohabtain jab shumaar karna to sazishen bhi shumaar karna,

Mohabtain jab shumaar karna to sazishen bhi shumaar karna,
Jo mere hisse main aayi hain woh aziyaten bhi shumaar karna,
Jalaye rakhoon gi subah tak main tumhare raste mein apni ankhen,
Magar kahin zabt toot jaye to barishen bhi shumaar karna,
Jo harf loh-e-wafaa pe likhe huye hain in ko bhi dekh lena,
Jo raayegan ho gayin woh sari ibaartain bhi shumaar karna,
Yeh sardiyon ka udaas mausam ke dharrkne barf ho gayi hain,
Jab in ki yakh-bastgi parakhna, tamaazten bhi shumaar karna,
Tum apni majbooriyon ke qisse zaroor likhna wazahton se,
Jo meri ankhon main jal bujhi hain woh khawhishen bhi shumaar karna..
