malte hain hath, hath lagenge anar kab

malte hain hath, hath lagenge anar kab
joban ka un ke dekhiye hoga ubhaar kab
ushshaq muntazir hain qayamat kab aaegi
be-parda munh dikhaega wo parda-dar kab
ek roz apni jaan pe hum khel jaenge
tum puchhte rahoge yunhi bar bar kab
bekas ko kaun roe gharibon ka kaun hai
meri lahad pe shama hui ashk-bar kab
kaun aaya paDhte fatiha kis ne chaDhae phul
marne ke baad puchhta hai koi yar kab
ummid na-umid ko un se nahin rahi
dushman ke dost hain wo hue mere yar kab
jo unche unche hain wahi jate hain baam par
mahfil mein hum gharibon ko milta hai yar kab
jab naqd mal tu ne diya hum ne naqd-e-dil
saqi hamein bata de ki pi thi udhaar kab
milna chhuDaya tum se mera rashk-e-ghair ne
karta hai koi aap se jabr iKHtiyar kab
'agha' ko zabh karte ho apni gali mein kyun
jaez hai meri jaan haram mein shikar kab
