کٹھن تنہائیوں سے کون کھیلا میں اکیلا
بھرا اب بھی مرے گاؤں کا میلہ میں اکیلا

بچھڑ کر تجھ سے میں شب بھر نہ سویا کون رویا
بجز میرے یہ دکھ بھی کس نے جھیلا میں اکیلا

یہ بے آواز بنجر بن کے باسی یہ اداسی
یہ دہشت کا سفر جنگل یہ بیلہ میں اکیلا

میں دیکھوں کب تلک منظر سہانے سب پرانے
وہی دنیا وہی دل کا جھمیلا میں اکیلا
