کتنی زلفیں کتنے آنچل اڑے چاند کو کیا خبر
کتنا ماتم ہوا کتنے آنسو بہے چاند کو کیا خبر

مدتوں اس کی خواہش سے چلتے رہے ہاتھ آتا نہیں
چاہ میں اس کی پیروں میں ہیں آبلے چاند کو کیا خبر

وہ جو نکلا نہیں تو بھٹکتے رہے ہیں مسافر کئی
اور لٹتے رہے ہیں کئی قافلے چاند کو کیا خبر

اس کو دعویٰ بہت میٹھے پن کا وصیؔ چاندنی سے کہو
اس کی کرنوں سے کتنے ہی گھر جل گئے چاند کو کیا خبر
