Khaab ke phooloN ki taa’beereiN puraani hogayiN

Khoon Thanda paR gaya aaNkhein puraani hogayiN

Jis ka chehraa tha chamakte mausamoN ki aarzoo

Us ki tasviireiN bhi auraaQ e Khazaani hogayiN

Dil bhar aaya kaGhaz-e-khaali ki surat dekh kar

Jin ko kahna tha woh sab bateiN zabaani hogayiN

Jo muqaddar tha usay to rokna bus mein na tha
