kal raat khuwab mein ek Mehtaab dekha hai...
mein kya bataon tumhein kaisa khuwab dekha hai.

Mujh se hi Q hai shikayat jahan walon ko.
azal se mein ne zamana kharab dekha hai.

behek Na jata tu batao aisa kya karta.
kal Us ko pehli baar benaqaab dekha hai.

Magar kal raat khuwab mein khud ko nawaab dekha hai.

humare shehar mein kaante hi phool hain.
tumhare shehar mein khilta gullaab dekha hai.

wisaal-e-yaar ko tarpa hon is

hijar ki raaton ka mein ne azaab dekhA hai..
