kafi nahin KHutut kisi baat ke liye

kafi nahin KHutut kisi baat ke liye
tashrif laiyega mulaqat ke liye
duniya mein kya kisi se kisi ko gharaz nahin
har koi ji raha hai faqat zat ke liye
hum bargah-e-naz mein us be-niyaz ki
paida kiye gae hain shikayat ke liye
hain pattharon ki zad pe tumhaari gali mein hum
kya aae the yahan isi barsat ke liye
apni taraf se kuchh bhi unhon ne nahin kaha
hum ne jawab sirf sawalat ke liye
raushan karo na sham se pahle charagh-e-jam
din ke liye ye chiz hai ya raat ke liye
mahngai rah-e-rast pe le aai khinch kar
bachti nahin raqam buri aadat ke liye
karne ke kaam kyun nahin karte 'shuur' tum
kya zindagi mili hai KHurafat ke liye
