Kabhi kabhi behadh ddar lagta hai

Kabhi kabhi behadh ddar lagta hai
Ke dosti ke sab rupehle rishte
Pyaar ke saare sunehre bandhan
Suukhi tenhiyon ki tarah
Chatakh kar tuut na jayen
Aankhen khulen, band hon dekhen
Lekin baaten karna chorr dain
Haat kaam kare
Ungliyan duniya bhar ke qaaziye likhe
Magar phuul jaise bachon ke
Dagmagaate chote chote pairon ko
Sahara dena bhuul jaayen
Aur suhaani shabnami raaton main
Jab roshniyan gul ho jayen
Taare motiya chameli ki tarah mehken
Preet ki ree nibhaayi na jaye
Dilon main kathorta ghar kar le
Mann ke chanchal sote suukh jayen
Yehi maut hai!!
Us dusri se bohat zeyada buri
Jis par sab aansuu bahate hain
Aarthi uthti hai
Chita sulagti hai
Qabron par phool charhaye jate hain
Charaagh jalte hain
Lekin yeh to tanhayi ke bhayanak maqbare hain
Daayimi qaid hai
Jis ke gol gumbad se
Apni cheekhon ki bhi baz-gasht nahin ati
Kabhi kabhi behadh ddar lagta hai..
