Kab kare kis se kare ishq ka peimaan koi,

Kab kare kis se kare ishq ka peimaan koi,
Jaan! muddat se nahin dekha hai jaanan koi,
Dil behelta nahin phailay huye viraanon main,
Koi le aye, kisi sheher se jaanan koi,
Zindagi, teri inaayat pe nichaawar kardi,
Phir bhi rehta hai to bata tera ehsaan koi,
Koi pagal koi wehshi kabhi dekha kab tha,
Kese hota na mere roop se hairaan koi,
Jitni yadain hain teri, sath liye phirta hoon,
Ab mere pass nahin baaki hai samaan koi,
Kese utrey gi thakkan jism ki phir shaam ke baad,
Raat utri na ho jis sheher mein asaan koi..
