jo ashk ban ke hamari palak pe baiTha tha

jo ashk ban ke hamari palak pe baiTha tha
tumhein bhi yaad hai ab tak wo KHwab kis ka tha
hamesha puchhti rahti hai raston ki hawa
yunhi ruke ho yahan ya kisi ne roka tha
laga hua hai abhi tak ye jaan ko khaTka
ki us ne jate hue kyun palaT ke dekha tha
KHabar kise hai kise puchhiye batae kaun
purane qasr mein kya subh-o-sham jalta tha
wajud hai ye kahin bah na jae lahron mein
gira gira ke palak aabju ko roka tha
fazaen aisi to 'adil' kabhi na mahki thin
hawa ke hath pe ye kis ka nam likkha tha
