Jaur se baaz aaye par baaz aayen kya,

Jaur se baaz aaye par baaz aayen kya,
kehte hain hum tujh ko munh dikhlaayen kya.

Raat din gardish mein hain saat aasmaan,
ho rahega kuchh na kuchh ghabraayen kya.

Laag ho toh uss ko hum samjhen lagaav,
jab na ho kuchh bhi toh dhokha khaayen kya.

Ho liye kyon naama-bar ke saath-saath,
Yaar rab apne khat ko hum pahunchaayen kya.

Mauj-e-khoon sar se guzar hi kyon na jaaye,
aastaan-e-yaar se uth jaayen kya.

Umar bhar dekha kiye marne ki raah,
mar gaye par dekhiye dikhlaayen kya.

Poochhte hain woh ki ‘ghalib’ kaun hai?
