Jab se yeh peghaam mila hai,

Jab se yeh peghaam mila hai,
Jaana’n! tum aaney wali ho,
Mausam ne sarey ghar ki tarteeb badal kar rakh daali hai,
Chokhat per ik chaand bhi aa kar beth geya hai,
Keyi sitaare lounge mein kab se pare huye hain,
Kehte hain ke,
Is raste se tum guzro gi,
Nanhe mune gulabon ka kehna hai,
Jitne din tum pass raho ge,
Ghar ke har konay mein aakar woh mehkain ge,
Phoolon ne mil kar sab konay baant liye hain,
Jugnu kab se chat pe, ghar ke,
Har goshay mein chamak rahe hain,
Suraj aur barish bhi kal se saaye‘baan per tikkay huye hain,
Dheemey dheemey chehek rahe hain,
Shaam to kab se kayi tarah ke mausam le ker,
Is kamrey mein ruki hui hai, Jis kamrey mein tum thehro ge,
Tum aao ge to yeh shaam hazaron mausam,
Sundar sundar sajji huyi ankhon ko de ker
Kho jayegi,
Phir na kabhi wapis aaye gi,
Is se pehle ke yeh shaam bhi,
Sarey mausam leker mujhko khaali karke kho jaye,
Tum aajao naa’n,
Aabhi jao….
