Jab bhi dekha mere kirdaar pe dhabba koi,

Jab bhi dekha mere kirdaar pe dhabba koi,
Dair tak beth ke tanhai main roya koi,
Log maazi ka bhi andaaza laga lete hain,
Mujh ko to yaad nahin kal ka bhi qissa koi,
Be’sabbab aankh main aansu nahin aya karte,
Aap se hoga yaqeenan mera rishta koi,
Yaad aane laga aik dost ka bartaao mujhe,
Toot kar gir parra jab shaakh se pata koi,
Baad main sath nibhane ki kasam kha lena,
Dekh lo jalta hua pehle patanga koi,
Us ko sunaa leta hoon ruudad -e-safar,
Raah main jab kabhi mil jata hai apna koi,
Kese samjhe ga bicharrna woh kisi ka Rana,
Toot’te dekha nahin us ne sitaara koi..
