In Imitation Of Dr. Swift : The Happy Life Of A Country Parson - Poem by Alexander Pope

Parson, these things in thy possessing
Are better than the Bishop's blessing.
A Wife that makes conserves; a Steed
That carries double when there's need:
October store, and best Virginia,
Tithe-Pig, and mortuary Guinea:
Gazettes sent gratis down, and frank'd,
For which thy Patron's weekly thank'd;
A large Concordance, bound long since:
Sermons to Charles the First, when Prince;
A Chronicle of ancient standing;
A Chrysostom to smooth thy band in.
The Polygot - three parts, - my text,
Howbeit, - likewise - now to my next.
Lo here the Septuagint, - and Paul,
To sum the whole, - the close of all.
He that has these, may pass his life,
Drink with the 'Squire, and kiss his wife;
On Sundays preach, and eat his fill;
And fast on Fridays - if he will;
Toast Church and Queen, explain the News,
Talk with Church-Wardens about Pews,
Pray heartily for some new Gift,
And shake his head at Doctor S-t.

Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear respose for limbs with travel tirèd;
But then beg

Bat Jab Bhi Bigri Hai Lafzon Par Bigri Hai
Kash K Hum Be-Zabaan Hote...

Shaheen kabhi parwaz sy thak kar nahi girta,
Pur dam ha agar tu, to nahi khatra-e-aftada...!!!

Haakim_e_Shehar Bata...!
Waqt K Shikanjon Ne
Khowahishon K Phoolon Ko
"Noch Noch" Tora Hai"

Abhi Urooj Par Hai Tumhara Mosam
Khizaan Me Tum Ko Khareed Lenge

Bano Ge Hum Se Rehem K Taalib

aasman par abr-pare ka safar mere liye
KHak par mahka hua chhoTa sa ghar mere liye
lafz ki chhag

Toot Kar Chubh Raha Hai Aankhon Main

Aaina To Nahi Tha Khawab Mera...

mausam-e-abr ho subuu bhii ho
gul ho gulshan ho aur tuu bhii ho
kab tak aaiine kaa ye husn-e-qubuu

Aaj Mujh Ko Bohat Bura Keh Kar

Aap Ne Naam Tu Liya Mera

Phir itne may0os kyun h0 us
ki bewaFayi par Faraz,
Tum khud hi t0h kehte thay k
w0h sab se Juda h

‎Uzr any main bhi hai aur bulaty bhi nahi,
baais-e-tark-e-mulaqat bataty bhi nahi,

khoob parda

Mohabbat Ki Aseeri Se Rihaayi Maangtay Rehna
Bohat Aasaan Nahi Hota Judaai Maangtay Rehna
Zara Sa

Phir Na Simtay Ge Muhabat Jo Bikhar Jay Ge
Zindgi Zulf Nahi Phir Sanwar Jay Ge

Tham Lo Hath Us

Yeh mazaaq hy meri zaat se
Ya riwaaj hy tere sheher ka..

Kabi is taraf kabi us taraf
Kia miz

My room and this distance,
awake upon the darkening land,
are one. I am a string
stretched across

Tarab-zaaron pe kya beeti sanam-khaanon pe kya guzri,
Dil-e-zinda tere marhuum armaanon pe kya guzr

Raat Ke Shayad Aik Baje Hain

Sota Ho Ga Mera Chand

Khoob parda hai ke chilman se lage bethe hain,
Saaf chupte bhi nahi saamne aatey bhi naheen..

Ishq Qaatil Se Bhi, Maqtool Se Hamdardi Bhi

Ye Bata Kis Se Muhabbat Ki Jaza Mange Ga

Sajda Kha

Soochta hun kabhi kabhi yun hi
..Aakhir harj kya tha..usay manaanay mein..
