Hum kisi ko apne amaal ka hisaab kya dete ?

Hum kisi ko apne amaal ka hisaab kya dete ?
Sawaal saaray ghalat the jawaab kya dete ?
Kharab sadiyon ki be-khwabiyan theen aankhon main,
Ab in be-aant khalaaon main khwaab kya dete ?
Hawa ki tarha musafir thy dilbaron ke dil,
Unhain bus aik hi ghar ka azaab kya dete ?
Sharaab dil ki talab thi sharaab ke pehra main,
Hum itni tangi main us ko sharaab kya dete ?
Munir dasht shuroo se saraab-aasa tha,
Usss aainay ko tamanna ki aab kya dete ?
