Guzarta saal hai, aur saal ka ye aakhiri din hai

Guzarta saal hai, aur saal ka ye aakhiri din hai
abhi kuchh dhoop hai lekin,
zara si derr ko tayy hai ki aakhir shaam honi hai,
haqeeqat ya kahani jo bhi hai anjaam honi hai.
agar tayy hai yehi hona,
toh phir kis baat ka khaadsha ?
toh phir kis baat ka rona ?
chalo mil baith kar apne khasaare baant lete hain..
sabhi rang aur jugnu aur sitaare baant lete hain.

jo kuchh ghadiyan mayassar hain..
inhi mein zindagi kar lein..
kisi ehsaas ki shama jalaa kar in andheron mein,
koi dum roshani kar lein,
chalo hum dosti kar lein.
