Ek shakhs ko chaha tha,

Ek shakhs ko chaha tha,

Taaron ki tarha humne

Ek shakhs ko chaha tha,

Apno ki tarha humne

Ek shakhs ko samjha tha,

Phoolon ki tarha humne

Wo shakhs qayamat tha kea,

Uski karein batein

Din us ke liye paida, Aur

Uski hi thi ratein

Kum milta kisi se tha,

Hum say thi mulaqatein

Rung uska shahabi tha,

Zulfon mein thi mehkarein

Aankhen theen ke jadu tha,

Palken theen ke Talwaaren

Dushman bhi ager dekhey,

So jaan say dil harain

Kuch Tumse wo milta tha,

Baton mein shabahat thi

Haan tumsa hi lagta tha,

Shokhi mein Sharart mein

Lagta bhi tumhi sa tha,

Dastoor e Mohabbat mein

Wo shakhs aik din humen,

Apno ki tarha bhoola,

Taaron ki tarha dooba,

Phoolon ki tarha toota,

Phir hath na aya wo,

Humne to bohut dhunda!

Tum kis liye chonkey ho ?

Tum kis liye chonkey ho! Kab ziker tumhara hai

Kab tumse takaza hai, Kab tumse shikayat hai

Ek Taza Hikayat hai sunlo, To inayat hai

Ek Shakhs ko chaha tha,

Taaron ki tarha humne

Ek shakhs ko chaha tha,

Apno ki tarha humne

Ek Taza Hikayat hai sunlo, To inayat hai..
