ek pahchan ke kitne ism hain

ek pahchan ke kitne ism hain
ek inam ke kitne nam hain
tera nam wo baadal jis ka paighambar par dasht-e-jabal mein saya hai
tera nam wo barkha jis ka rim-jhim pani
wadi mein dariya kahlae aur samundar banta jae
tera nam wo suraj jis ka sona sab ki milkiyyat hai
jis ka sikka mulkon mulkon jari hai
tera nam wo harf jise imkan ki lauh par dekh ke main ne
pesh-o-pas se nuqta nuqta joD liya hai
ismon wale harfon wale namon wale
mujh ko bhi ek nam ata kar
meri jholi midhat karti bundon kirnon chamkile harfon se bhar de
