chand qadmon se ziyaada nahin chalne pate
jis ko dekho wahi qaidi kisi zanjir ka hai
jo bhi karna hai faqat dil ki tasalli ke liye
waqt tahrir ka hai aur na tadbir ka hai
tum mohabbat ka use nam bhi de lo lekin
ye to qissa kisi haari hui taqdir ka hai
ye jo chalne nahin pate teri jaanib dar-asl
jaldi jaldi mein kahin Dar hamein taKHir ka hai
bilkul aise mujhe hasil hai himayat sab ki
har koi jaise taraf-dar yahan hir ka hai
