Dil hi toh hai na sang-o-khisht dard se bhar na aaye kyon,

Dil hi toh hai na sang-o-khisht dard se bhar na aaye kyon,
royenge hum hazaar baar koi humein sataaye kyon.

Dair nahin haram nahin dar nahin aastaan nahin,
baithe hain rahguzar pe hum ghair humein uthaaye kyon.

Jab woh jamaal-e-dilfaroz soorat-e-mehr-e-neemroz,
aap hi ho nazaara-soz parde mein munh chhupaaye kyon.

Dashna-e-ghamza jaan-sataan naawak-e-naaz bepanaah,
tera hi aks-e-rukh sahi saamane tere aaye kyon.

Qaid-e-hayaat-o-band-e-ghum asal mein donon ek hain,
maut se pehle aadmi ghum se najaat paaye kyon.

Husn aur uss pe husn-e-zan reh gayi bul-hawas ki sharm,
apne pe etimaad hai ghair ko aazmaaye kyon.

Waan woh ghuroor-e-izz-o-naaz yaan ye hijaab-e-paas-e-waza.a,
raah mein hum milen kahan bazm mein woh bulaaye kyon.

Haan woh nahin khuda-parast jaao woh bewafa sahi,
jis ko ho deen-o-dil azeez uss ki gali mein jaaye kyon.

‘Ghalib-e-khasta ke baghair kaun se kaam band hain,
roiye zaar zaar kya keejiye haaye haaye kyon. !!

Guzar Gye Hain Bohat Din Rafaqat-e Shab Mein
Ik Umar Ho Gyi Chehra Wo Chand Sa Dekhe

Remember the days of our first happiness,
how strong we were, how dazed by passion,
lying all day,

There are scenes in the distance where beauty is not,
On the desolate flats where gaunt appletrees

Mine eye hath played the painter and hath stelled,
Thy beauty's form in table of my heart,
My body

Honto pay muskan saja k rakhtey hain,

Main Hans Para Hoon AAj Khud ko Barbad Dekh Kar.

Aaj Phir Maazi Ki Yaadoon Mein Kho Gaya Mein,,

Pochha Jo Kisi Ne Muhabbat Ka Safar Kesa Tha...

What does the horse give you
That I cannot give you?

I watch you when you are alone,
