Beeti huyi ruton mein kho sa gaya hoon,

Beeti huyi ruton mein kho sa gaya hoon,
Chale aao ke teri yaad mein mar sa gaya hoon,
Teri kalaam karti ankhen, Tera muskurata chehra,
Un ki deed ko ab mein taras sa gaya hoon,
Woh aik pal ka milna dushwaar kar gaya mujhko,
Ke bagher ab tere mein toot sa gaya hoon,
Tere bicharne ki duhaayi doon ya bhula doon tujhko,
Tujhe yaad karte karte ab thak sa gaya hoon..
