بیانِ حال مفصّل نہیں ہوا اب تک
جو مسئلہ تھا وہی حل نہیں ہوا اب تک

نہیں رہا کبھی میں تیری دسترس سے دور
مِری نظر سے تُو اوجھل نہیں ہوا اب تک

بچھڑ کے تجھ سے یہ لگتا تھا ٹوٹ جاؤں گا
خدا کا شکر ہے پاگل نہیں ہوا اب تک

جلائے رکھا ہے میں نے بھی اک چراغِ امید
تمہارا در بھی مقفّل نہیں ہوا اب تک

مجھے تراش رہا ہے یہ کون برسوں سے
مِرا وجود مکمل نہیں ہوا اب تک

دراز دستِ تمنّا نہیں کیا میں نے
کرم تمہارا مسلسل نہیں ہوا اب تک
