Bas iss qadar hai khulaasa meri kahaani ka,

Bas iss qadar hai khulaasa meri kahaani ka,
ki ban ke toot gaya ek habaab paani ka.

Mila hai saaqi toh raushan hua hai ye mujh par,
ki hazf tha koi tukda meri kahaani ka.

Mujhe bhi chehre pe raunaq dikhaayi deti hai,
ye mojaza hai tabeebon ki khush-bayaani ka.

Hai dil mein ek hi khwaahish woh doob jaane ki,
koi shabaab koi husn hai rawaani ka.

Libaas-e hashr mein kuchh ho toh aur kya hoga,
bujha sa ek chhanaaka teri jawaani ka.

Karam ke rang nihaayat ajeeb hote hain,
sitam bhi ek tareeqa hai meharbaani ka.

Adam’ bahaar ke mausam ne khudkushi kar li,
khula jo rang kisi jism-e argawaani ka. !!
