baat karne ka nahin samne aane ka nahin

baat karne ka nahin samne aane ka nahin
wo mujhe meri aziyyat se bachane ka nahin
dur ek shahr hai jo pas bulata hai mujhe
warna ye shahr kahin chhoD ke jaane ka nahin
kya yunhi raat ke pahlu mein kaTegi ye hayat
kya koi shahr ke logon ko jagane ka nahin
ajnabi log hain main jin mein ghira rahta hun
aashna koi yahan mere fasane ka nahin
ye jo ek shahr hai ye jis pe tasarruf hai mera
main yahan koi bhi diwar banane ka nahin
baad muddat ke jo aaya tha wahi lauT gaya
ab yahan koi charaghon ko jalane ka nahin
aane wali hai nai subh zara der ke baad
kya koi rah-e-tamanna ko sajaane ka nahin
