Aye wasl kuch yahan na huwa kuch nahi hua

Aye wasl kuch yahan na huwa kuch nahi hua
uss jism ki main jaan na hua kuch nahi hua

Tu aaj mere ghar mein jo mehmaan hai Eid hai,
tu ghar ka mezbaan na hua kuch na huwa.

Kholi toh hai zabaan magar iss ki kya bisaat,
main zehar ki dukaan na hua kuchh nahi hua.

Kya ek kaarobaar tha woh rabt e jism o jaan
koi bhi raigaan na huwa kuch nahi huwa

Kitna jala hua hun bas ab kya bataaun main,
aalam dhuaan dhuaan na huwa kuch nahi huwa
