Apni hi tegh-e-adaa se aap ghaayal ho geya,

Apni hi tegh-e-adaa se aap ghaayal ho geya,
Chaand ne paani mein dekha aur paagal ho geya,
Woh havaa thi shaam hi se raste khaali ho gaye,
Woh ghataaa barssii ke saara sheher jal-thal ho geya,
Main akela aur safar ki shaam rangon mei dhalli,
Phir yeh manzar meri nazron se bhi ojhal ho geya,
Ab kahan ho ga woh aur hoga bhi to waisa kahaan,
Soch kr yeh baat jee kuch aur bojhal ho geya,
Husn ki dehshat ajab thi vasl ki shab mei Munir,
Haath jaise intihaa-e-shauq se shhall ho geya..
