Ajnabi kaun ho tum jab se tumhe dekha hai

Ajnabi kaun ho tum jab se tumhe dekha hai
Saari duniya meri aankhon mein simat aayi hai

Tum to har geet mein shamil the tarannum banke
Tum mile ho mujhe phoolon ka tabassum banke

Aisa lagta hai ke barso se shanaas aayi hai
Khwaab ka rang haqeqat mein nazar aaya hai

Dil mein dhadkan ki tarah koi utar aaya hai
Aaj har saans mein shehnai si lehraayi hai

Koi aahat si andheron mein chamak jaati hai
Raat aati hai tanhaayi mehak jaati hai
Tum mile ho k ya muhabbat ne ghazal gaayi hai

"Jo bhi bichhare hain kab mile hain 'Faraz'
Phir bhi tu intazaar kar shaayad
