aj khoya hua ik dost bohat yaad hai

aj khoya hua ik dost bohat yaad hai
acha guzra hua waqt bohat yad aya

meri aankh k her ansu pe rone wala
aj jab aankh yeh roi to bohat yaad aya

jo mere dard ko seene mein chupa lera tha
aj jab dard hua mujhe to bohat yaad aya

jo meri aankh mein kajal ki tarah rehta tha
aj kajal jo lagaya to bohat yaad aya

jo mere dil tha qareeb faqat usko hi
aj jab dil ne bulaya to bohat yaad aya
