Aisa khamosh to manzar na fanaa ka hota,

Aisa khamosh to manzar na fanaa ka hota,
Meri tasveer bhi girtii to chhanaaka hota,
Yuun bhi ik baar to hota ke samandar behta,
Koi ehsaas to dariyaa ki anaa ka hota,
Saans mausam ki bhi kuch der ko chalne lagti,
Koi jhonka teri palkon ki havaa ka hota,
Kaanch ke paar tere haath nazar aate hain,
Kaash khushbuu ki tarah rang hinaa ka hota,
Kyun meri shakal pehen leta hai chhupke ke liye,
Ek chehra koi apna bhi khudaa ka hota..
