Ahwsal-e-mohabbat mein kuchh farq nahin aisa,
soz-o-tab-o-taab awwal soz-o-tab-o-taab aakhir.
Main tujh ko batata hun taqdeer-e-umam kya hai,
shamsheer-o-sanaa awwal taaoos-o-rabaab aakhir.
Maikhana-e-europe ke dastoor niraale hain,
laate hain suroor awwal dete hain sharaab akhir.
Kya dabdaba-e-naadir kya shaukat-e-taimoori,
ho jaate hain sab daftar gharq-e-mayy-e-naab aakhir.
Khalwat ki ghadi guzri jalwat ki ghadi aayi,
chhutne ko hai bijli se aagosh-e-sahaab aakhir.
Tha zabt bahut mushkil iss sail-e-maani ka,
keh daale qalandar ne asraar-e-kitaab aakhir. !!
