Ab to ghabraa ke yeh kehte hain ke mar jaayenge,

Ab to ghabraa ke yeh kehte hain ke mar jaayenge,
Mar ke bhi chain naa paaya to kidar jaayenge,
Tum ne thehraayi agar ghair ke ghar jaane ki,
To iraade yahan kuch aur theher jaayenge,
Khaali ae charagaro honge bohat marham-daan,
Pr mere zakham nahin aise ke bhar jaayenge,
Pohanchenge rahguzar -e-yaar talak kyun kar hum,
Pehle jab tak na do aalam se guzar jaayenge,
Shola-e-aah ko bijlii ki tarah chamkaaun,
Pr mujhe ddar hai ke woh dekh ke ddar jayenge,
Hum nahin woh jo karen khoon ka daavaa tujh per,
Balke pooche ga khuda bhi to mukar jaayenge,
Aag dozakh ki bhi ho jaayegi paani paani,
Jab yeh asi araq-e-sharam se tar jaayenge,
Nahin paaye ga nishaan koi hamara hargiz,
Hum jahaan se ravish-e-teer-e-nazar jaayenge,
Saamne chashm-e-gohar-baar ke keh do dariyaa,
Charrh ke gar aaye to nazron se utar jaayenge,
Laayi jo mast hain turbat pe gulaabi aankhen,
Aur agar kuch nahin do phool to dhar jayenge,
Rukh -e-roshan se naqaab apne ulatt dekho tum,
Mehr-o-maah nazron se yaaron ki utar jaayenge,
Hum bhi dekhnege koi ehl-e-nazar hai ke nahin,
Yaan se jab hum ravish-e-teer-e-nazar jaayenge,
“Zauq” jo madrasse ke bigrre huye hain mulla,
Un ko mai-khane me le aaon sanwar jaayenge..
