آؤ سناؤں دوستو کچھ سائبان کی
اک داستاں ہے تتلیوں کے گلستان کی

وہ بے وفا جو پیار کی نظروں سے گر گیا
باتیں سنا رہا تھا مجھے آسمان کی

میں نیند کے خمار سے یک دم نکل گئی
آئی صدا جو کان میں جب بھی اذان کی

جب اور میرے کنبے کےافراد بڑھ گئے
سمتیں سمٹ کے رہ گئیں میرے مکان کی

یہ فکر و آگہی کی بشارت ہے دوستو
اب منزلت بڑھی ہے جو میرے بیان کی

بس میرا غم شناس ہے وشمہ وہ میرے پاس
اب فکر کیوں ہو مجھ کو کسی امتحان کی
